      History & Design

      Montesol Experimental Ibiza is the first hotel on the island, opened in 1933. The neo-colonial building was redesigned by interior designer Lázaro Rosa-Violán, who gave each of the 33 rooms a colonial style. A terrace on Passeig de Vara de Rey and a rooftop with views of the UNESCO-protected medieval city centre are part of the property.

      Accommodations

      Each of the 33 rooms is air-conditioned and includes a wardrobe, desk, and safety deposit box. Bright interiors are decorated in colonial style with furnishings selected by Lázaro Rosa-Violán. Guests in standard rooms should note that windows have privacy glass, while higher categories offer city views from the Vara de Rey side.

      The on-site Mediterranean restaurant focuses on innovative, seasonal dishes and is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
